SWEET LIME PICKLES 
2 qts. apple cider vinegar
7-10 c. sugar

Put in thin cloth bag; add to vinegar mix: 1 tsp. whole cloves 1 tsp. mixed pickling spices 1 tsp. mustard seed 2 tsp. salt

Slice 7 pounds cucumbers and cover with a solution made of 2 cups lime to 2 gallons water. Let stand 24 hours. Rinse well. Soak in cold water 3 hours. Drain and cover with vinegar mixture. Let stand overnight. The next morning bring slowly to a boil and simmer gently for 35 minutes. Pour immediately into sterilized jars and seal.
