CHILI-CON CARNE 
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. onion powder
1/8 tsp. ground cumin (comino)
1 1/2 tbsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. black pepper
4 tbsp. flour
2 c. water or tomato juice

Brown ground beef. Add seasoning and flour. Mix well and stir in water. Bring chili to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat and simmer 15 to 20 minutes. Yields 4 to 6 servings.
