TRIPLE LAYER BROWNIES 
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips
2 c. unsifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, softened
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1 c. chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt 1 cup of chocolate chips; set aside. Melt butterscotch chips; set aside. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside. In a large bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well with each addition. Blend in flour mixture. Stir in nuts. Divide batter in half. Blend melted chocolate chips into first half. Spread in well greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan.

Blend butterscotch chips in second half of batter. Spread evenly over chocolate layer. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Remove from oven. Sprinkle remaining 1 cup chocolate chips evenly over top of brownies. Let morsels set about 5 minutes until soft; spread evenly on top of brownies.
