DOUBLE LAYER BROWNIES 
1 1/3 c. plain flour
4 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. sugar
2/3 c. butter
1 c. nuts
2 tsp. vanilla
2 sq. chocolate

Sift flour, baking powder and salt; melt chocolate and butter together. Beat eggs well and add sugar gradually. Blend in chocolate. Add sifted flour and vanilla. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees (3 x 9 x 12 pan). Cool in pan.

MIDDLE FILLING:

1/2 c. butter, creamed fluffy

2 tsp. vanilla pudding (dry)
3 tsp. milk

2 c. sifted powdered sugar

Spread over cool brownies. Cool. Spread on top 1 can of already prepared chocolate icing. Rich and good.
