TRIPLE LAYER BROWNIES 
1 sq. oz. unsweetened chocolate
1/4 c. butter
1 egg
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. chopped pecans
1/4 c. soft butter
2 c. confectioners' sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
6 tbsp. heavy cream
1 sq. unsweetened chocolate
3 tbsp. butter

FIRST LAYER: Melt 1 square unsweetened chocolate and 1/4 cup butter; cool. Beat egg, granulated sugar and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Stir in cooled chocolate, flour and chopped nuts. Pour into 7 x 11 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes until done.

SECOND LAYER: Combine 1/4 cup butter (soft), confectioners' sugar, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and heavy cream in small bowl. Blend well. Spread over cooled cake.

THIRD LAYER: Melt 1 square unsweetened chocolate, 3 tablespoons butter (low heat). Pour melted chocolate over second layer. Tilt pan so chocolate covers all.
