ANGEL BISCUITS 
5 c. self-rising flour
1 tbsp. baking soda
2 pkgs. dry yeast
2 c. buttermilk
1/3 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
1/4 c. lukewarm water

Combine flour, sugar, soda. Cut in shortening. Add yeast dissolved in water, then milk. Mix. Pinch off and make rolls or cut in biscuits. Place on wax paper and let rise as desired. Can be frozen and then placed in plastic bags for later use.
