GOOD FOR YOUR HEART SKILLET FRIED CHICKEN - VEGETABLE DINNER | |
1 pkg. chicken breast strips, sliced 2 celery stalks, sliced 2 zucchini, sliced 2 yellow squash, sliced Beat sprouts 1 yellow onion, sliced 3 tbsp. olive oil 3 tbsp. soy sauce 1/8 c. fresh ginger 4 garlic cloves, sliced 3 tbsp. toasted sesame oil 4 to 6 c. cooked rice Over medium heat, heat olive oil and ginger until ginger turns light brown, add chicken and brown. Add celery and cover to steam celery, (about 5 minutes). Should still be crunchy. Set aside. Combine sesame oil and garlic and heat over medium heat; add zucchini squash, onions and sprouts. Steam vegetables, do not over heat. Should be crunchy. Add soy sauce and serve over rice with chicken dish on side. Serves 5 to 6. |
