ALMOND STARS 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 lb. ground blanched almonds

Cream the butter and beat in the sugar. Then add the remaining ingredients and chill for several hours or overnight. Roll on a floured board to 1/4 inch thickness and cut with 2 inch star cutter. Bake on an ungreased sheet for 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
