TRIFLE 
Pound cake or sponge cake
1 pkg. red Jello, follow pkg. directions to prepare
1 sm. pkg. vanilla instant or pie filling
1 lg. can mixed fruit or can of plain sliced peaches
Fresh whipped cream or softened Cool Whip

Slice cake and place in serving bowl. Prepare Jello and pour over cake. Allow to set overnight in refrigerator to harden. Prepare pudding and pour over Jello layer. Allow to set for awhile in refrigerator. Drain fruit and spread over pudding layer evenly. Top with either fresh whipped cream or Cool Whip, softened.
