2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. boiling water
1/2 c. sour milk
2 eggs, whole
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda

Cream shortening, eggs, vanilla, sour milk and sugar. Mix flour, cocoa, salt and soda. Mix all this up with fork. Then add to creamed mixture. Beat well and add cup of boiling water; mix and pour in an oblong pan. and bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Test with toothpick.
