GRANOLA 
6 c. oats
1 c. coconut, shredded
1/2 c. shelled sunflower seeds
1/2 c. cooking oil
1/3 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. wheatgerm
3/4 c. cashews or other nuts
1/2 c. honey
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. raisins or?

In large bowl combine oats, coconut, wheatgerm, seeds and nuts. Mix oil, honey, water, salt and vanilla. Pour over oat mixture; stir well to coat. Spread mixture on 2 greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, stirring frequently. Cool thoroughly, add raisin or dates or ? store in airtight container. Dates, chopped dried apricots.
