1 lb. English walnuts Spread in pan, bake 10 to 15 minutes at 325 degrees and then cool. Beat 2 egg whites stiff, add 1 cup sugar and a dash of salt. Mix nuts into meringue, stir until all nuts are coated. Melt 1/2 cup butter in jelly roll pan r large lasagne size pan. Spread the nuts and bake 30 to 35 minutes at 325 degrees. Stir frequently until all butter is absorbed. |
