QUICK WHEAT BREAD 
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water
1 tbsp. honey
1/8 tsp. ground ginger
1 lg. can evaporated milk
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. canola oil
1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
3 c. sifted all-purpose flour

Dissolve honey in warm water. Add yeast and ginger. Let sit 15 minutes. Stir in evaporated milk, salt and oil. Add whole wheat flour and beat until smooth. Add gradually the sifted flour; beat well. The batter will be heavy and stiff.
