CORN DODGERS | |
1 c. cornmeal 1 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. butter 1 1/2 tsp. sugar 1 c. boiling water Start oven, set at 400 degrees then grease a baking sheet. Combine the cornmeal, salt, butter and sugar then mix well. Pour the water over the cornmeal mixture and beat until well blended. Drop the batter from a tablespoon onto the baking sheet. Bake about 20 minutes. This batter can also be cooked on a hot, greased griddle. Makes 12 dodgers. |
