BUTTERMILK BISCUITS | |
2 c. flour 2 tsp. cream of tartar 1 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. Crisco (heaping) 1 c. buttermilk (to make soft dough) Sift together the flour, cream of tartar and salt. Add the Crisco and buttermilk. Mix together and empty onto well floured board. Roll out to approximately 1/2-inch thickness. Bake in hot oven at 400°F approximately 15 minutes. |
