BREAKFAST SCONES 
3 c. packaged biscuit mix
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. currants (or chopped raisins)
1 c. milk

GLAZE INGREDIENTS:

3 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tbsp. cream

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In medium bowl combine biscuit mix, sugar, and currants; mix well. With fork stir in milk to make soft dough. Drop by heaping tablespoons, 1 inch apart, on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 15 minutes. Serve warm.

If desired, brush with glaze: Combine 3 tablespoons sugar with cinnamon, butter, and cream to make paste. Brush over warm scones. Bake 2 minutes longer until lightly brown.
