SAUSAGE CHOWDER SOUP | |
1 lb. pork sausage 1 qt. water 1 lg. onion, chopped 1 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt 1/2 tsp. thyme 1 bay leaf 1/2 tsp. pepper 2 garlic cloves 1/2 chopped green pepper 2 cans kidney beans 1 lg. can tomatoes 2 c. diced potatoes Brown and drain sausage; put in large kettle. Add all ingredients, except potatoes and peppers. Simmer, covered, 1 hour. Add potatoes and peppers and cook 1 hour. Remove bay leaf and serve. |
