DARK NUT BREAD | |
1 1/2 c. flour 1 c. chopped dates 1 c. chopped nuts 1 c. brown sugar 1 tbsp. melted butter 1 tsp. baking soda 1 c. hot water 1 egg, beaten 2 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. baking powder Flour dates and nuts. Mix sugar with butter. Dissolve soda in water. Combine remaining ingredients, blend well, pour into standard size bread pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes at 300 degrees or until toothpick comes out clean. |
