CREOLE CAKE 
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. oil
2 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 heaping tbsp. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. boiling water
2 c. flour

Mix all ingredients together except water. Mix well, then add boiling water. Pour into 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25- 30 minutes. Leave in pan. Prepare topping.

TOPPING:

1 1/2 c. brown sugar
3/4 stick butter
1 sm. can Pet milk
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coconut
