HAMBURGER STROGANOFF 
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. minced onions
1 lb. chuck, ground
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp. flour
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. monosodium glutamate
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. paprika
1 lb. mushrooms, sliced
1 can condensed cream-of-chicken soup, undiluted
1 c. commercial sour cream
Snipped parsley, chives, or fresh dill

Preheat electric fry pan to "hamburger" temperature. In hot butter in fry pan, saute onions until golden. Stir in meat, garlic, flour, salt, monosodium glutamate, pepper, paprika, mushrooms; saute 5 minutes.

Turn control to "simmer" temperature. Add soup; simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes. Stir in sour cream; sprinkle with parsley.

Serve on hot mashed potatoes, fluffy rice, buttered noodles or toast. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
