CROCK POT APPLE BUTTER 
16 c. unpeeled apples
2 c. cider
2 c. sugar or honey
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon or to taste

Cook 12 hours on low. Run through sieve apples and cider. (If using honey, cut cider to 1 cup.) Add rest of ingredients. Cook all 1 hour longer.
