TEN LAYER CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 3/4 stick butter
3 c. self-rising flour
1 c. milk
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar and butter together. Add eggs, vanilla, milk and flour. Pour into 3 greased 9-inch cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees until done. Remove layers and cool on wire racks. When cool, split layers in half. Ice layers with chocolate icing sauce.

CHOCOLATE ICING SAUCE:

2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
3/4 lg. can canned milk
6 tbsp. cocoa
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. melted paraffin wax

Mix everything except wax together in saucepan. Heat on low heat for 10 minutes. Add wax paraffin. Let cool completely and then ice layers that are split (6 layers now).
