PIZZA MEATLOAF | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 c. diced scamorza cheese 1 can tomato paste 1 egg 1/2 c. Romano cheese, grated (optional) 1 sm. onion 1 tsp. coarse ground black pepper 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. parsley, chopped 1 tbsp. oregano 1 clove garlic (through garlic press) 3/4 c. dry red wine Combine in a large bowl the beef, diced scamorza, tomato paste, egg, Romano cheese, pepper, salt, parsley, oregano, garlic and wine. Knead well and form into a meatloaf. Place in loaf pan. Cut the onion into rings and place the rings down center of loaf. Bake 1 hour in 375 degree oven. Serves 6. |
