MARY RUTH'S POPCORN BALLS 
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. white Karo
Cake coloring (your choice - optional)
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. vinegar
6 qts. popped popcorn

Cook until soft crackle. Add vinegar and coloring, when you take off stove. Coat popcorn and make into balls or crumble for cracker jacks.
