GOOD FAIRY COOKIES 
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 c. self-rising flour
Sweet chocolate, melted
1/3 c. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Sweet chocolate

Cream sugar, butter, egg and vanilla well. Stir in flour. Chill 1 hour. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Roll 1/8 inch thick on floured board. Cut into small stars. Bake on ungreased baking sheet 6-8 minutes, until lightly browned. Cool.

Put 2 together with melted sweet chocolate in between; add dab of sweet chocolate and sprinkle chopped pecans on top. Makes 32 double cookies. (Note: Cookies brown quickly when baking, watch them closely.)
