CHOWDER 
1 peck green tomatoes
1 dozen lg. cucumbers
2 heads cabbage
4 lg. onions
1 oz. each white mustard seed, celery seed, black mustard seed, horseradish

Chop cabbage and tomatoes; sprinkle with salt and let stand overnight. Place in colander and drain. Add 2 cups sugar to 1 gallon vinegar; boil all together 15 minutes. While still hot, put in jars and seal.
