PICKLED OKRA | |
1 clove garlic per pint 1 hot pepper 1 pod per pint Dill seed 1 tsp. per pint 1 qt. vinegar 1 c. water 1/2 c. salt Place garlic and hot pepper in bottom of hot jars. Remove stems from okra. Wash okra and pack firmly in jars. Add dill seeds. Bring vinegar, water and salt to boiling point. Simmer for 5 minutes. Pour hot liquid over okra in jars. Seal. |
