GREEN BEANS 
Green beans, fresh or canned
Ham or ham hock for seasoning (may use bacon grease)
Salt to taste

If beans are fresh, break tips off green beans. Break beans, add water, seasoning and ham. I cook beans until water is almost gone. Do not stir beans, they loose their shape. You may peel and cut potatoes up on top of beans if you want, while cooking.
