CHICKEN WINGS SUPREME 
23 to 25 chicken wings
1 med. to lg. onion, chopped fine
3 bay leaves
1/2 stick butter
1 qt. tomato juice or large can
1 lg. can mushrooms
2 to 3 stalks celery, chopped fine
1 qt. whole tomatoes, mashed

Saute onion, celery and mushrooms in the butter until tender. Add tomatoes and bay leaves. Simmer until nearly all liquid is evaporated (approximately 1 hour). Pour into bowl, set aside.

Brown wings until half done. Drain off grease. Layer in a large pan. Pour in the tomato mixture and add tomato juice. Simmer until wings are done, stirring occasionally.
