PINE NUT BREAD DIRECTIONS 
Grease and flour an 8"x4"x2" loaf pan. In large bowl, sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt over raisins and nuts. In small bowl beat egg. Add melted shortening and vanilla. In 2 cup measure put crushed pineapple. Add soda. Stir and add to dry ingredients until just mixed. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Cool 25 minutes before removing from pan.
