BLANC MANGE 
1/3 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/4 c. milk
1 pkg. plain gelatin
1 c. cooked rice
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 can of cherry pie filling

Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt. Add milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil for 1 minute. Add gelatin, rice and vanilla; mix until gelatin dissolves. Put into a Jello mold. Chill until molded. Unmold and put cherry pie filling over top of mold. P. S. May use another can of pie filling. 4-6 servings.
