BURGERS CORDON BLEU 
4 lg. hamburger buns
1 lb. hamburger meat
1/4 lb. ham, thinly sliced
4 slices Swiss cheese
4 leaves lettuce, washed
4 slices tomato
4 slices onion; optional
Thousand island dressing

Divide hamburger into 4 patties, and fry or broil until desired doneness. Meanwhile toast hamburger buns, and fry ham until warm. Place hamburger patties on bottom bun, top with cheese, ham, tomato, lettuce, and onion. Coat top bun with Thousand Island dressing. Serve with pickles and chips.
