Spread 12 ounce can of mixed nuts on jelly roll pan and bake at 325 degrees for 5-10 minutes. Beat 2 egg whites until stiff. Add 1 cup sugar. Beat until well blended. Fold in toasted nuts until well coated. Melt 1/2 cup butter and pour into jelly roll pan. Add coated nuts and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes at 325 degrees. Stir every 10 minutes. (You don't want the coating to get too dark.)
