SWEDISH NUT CAKE | |
2 c. sifted flour 2 c. sugar 2 eggs 2 tsp. baking soda 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (juice & all) 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. walnuts Mix by hand until well blended, pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13 pan. Bake 35-40 minutes at 325 degrees. When completely cool, ice with the following icing: Icing 1 box powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (softened) 1 stick butter 1/2 c. walnuts Cream the cheese and butter, then add the remaining ingredients. Beat until. mixture is smooth. |
