SWEDISH NUTS 
1 stick butter
3 1/2 c. pecans
2 egg whites, beaten stiff
1 c. sugar
1 1/4 tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter in baking pan. Pour in pecans and stir. Beat egg whites, sugar and salt until stiff. Fold meringue into pecans. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Stir every 10 minutes. Let set overnight. Store in an airtight container.
