BROCCOLI SALAD 
1 head broccoli
1/2 lb. bacon
1 1/2 to 1 3/4 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 sm. onion, diced

DRESSING:

1/2 c. salad dressing
1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar

Chop broccoli finely. Dice bacon and dry until crisp. Place first 4 ingredients in bowl. Mix dressing; pour over salad and mix well. Refrigerate and serve. Beat if mixed and chilled at least 8 hours before serving.
