KIELBASA, SAUERKRAUT AND APPLES 
1 lb. sauerkraut, rinsed & drained
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. sugar
1 c. white wine
2 apples, peeled, cored & sliced in rings
1 lg. kielbasa, sliced or cut in sections

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. In large casserole, mix sauerkraut, sugars and wine. Spread this evenly in baking dish. Place apple rings on top of sauerkraut mixture and lay kielbasa on top of apples. Cover and place in oven. After 30 minutes, baste and reduce heat to 300 degrees and bake for 30 minutes more. A can of small potatoes may be added on top of kielbasa before baking if desired.
