BACON BARS 
1/2 c. shredded sharp process American cheese
6 slices bacon, crisp, cooked and coarsely crumbled
2 c. pkg. biscuit mix
3 tbsp. bacon drippings

Stir cheese and bacon into dry mix. Make dough according to package directions for biscuits, substituting bacon drippings for salad oil. Knead as directed for rolled biscuits. Cut into 6 ten inch strips. Cut in thirds to make 18 bars. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes.
