BUTTERMILK CHESS PIE | |
2 c. sugar 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour 5 lg. eggs, lightly beaten 2/3 c. buttermilk 1/2 c. butter, melted 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1 unbaked 9 inch pastry shell (deep dish) Combine sugar and flour in a large bowl; add eggs and buttermilk, stirring until blended. Stir in butter and vanilla, and pour into unbaked pastry shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until set. Cool on a wire rack. Yield: 1 (9 inch) pie. |
