CHOCOLATE COOKIES WITH CHIPS 
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 sqs. unsweetened baking chocolate, melted & cooled
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chips (chocolate, peanut butter or mint chips)

In large bowl, combine butter, sugars, vanilla; beat until creamy. Beat in eggs and melted chocolate. Gradually add flour, salt and baking soda. Stir in chips and nuts. Drop on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 6 to 8 minutes in preheated 375 degree oven. Makes about 6 dozen cookies.
