POPCORN BALLS 
1 c. sugar
1 c. white Karo syrup
1 tbsp. white vinegar
1 1/2 c. unpopped popcorn, popped in hot air popper

Remove any unpopped kernels from popcorn. Set aside. Put first 3 ingredients in saucepan and boil mixture until it spins a fine thread. When this happens, remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1/4 teaspoon baking soda and stir well. Wet hands or butter hands after pouring mixture over popcorn for it will be hot. Shape balls by hand and wrap with waxed paper. Makes 15 to 18 balls. If you like gooey balls, use less popcorn.
