1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 1/2 c. all purpose flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream together butter, shortening and sugar. Blend in eggs and then blend in dry ingredients. Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar (2 teaspoons cinnamon and 3 tablespoons sugar mixed together). Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
