MRS. WALLACE'S FRUIT SALAD 
1 (13 1/4 oz.) can pineapple chunks
4 oranges of same size chunks
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 bananas
1 pt. fresh strawberries

Put in colander (with dish beneath). Top with 1/2 cup sugar and let stand overnight. Next day add 1 tablespoon lemon juice and 1 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch to juice. Cook until clear and thick; cool

Mix fruit and thickened juice and add 2 bananas and a pint of fresh strawberries, when in season, for color. Serves 6-8.
