2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
4 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. pumpkin (sm. can)
2 tsp. baking soda

Mix together sugar, oil and eggs. Add flour, soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and pumpkin. Mix well. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. If using a tube pan bake for 1 hour or until done and only use 1/2 of topping.

TOPPING FOR PUMPKIN CAKE:

1 box (3 1/2 c.) sifted powdered sugar
1 stick butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix together and frost the cake.
