CINNAMON SOUR CREAM COFFEE CAKE 
2 cubes butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. thick cultured sour cream
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. finely chopped walnuts
Blend together:
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 tbsp. sugar

Combine butter, sugar and eggs in a large bowl. Beat with electric mixer until mixture is light and fluffy. Blend in sour cream. Sift flour, soda and baking powder into cream mixture. Add vanilla and blend well. Spoon 1/2 batter into 9 inch tube pan, which has been greased and floured. (Batter will be quite thick.)

Sprinkle half of the cinnamon nut mixture on the top of batter. Spoon remaining batter on top of what is in pan and top with remainder of cinnamon-nut mixture. Place in cold oven. Set oven to moderate (350 degrees) and bake 45-55 minutes. Cut pieces in pan. 8-10 servings.
