GARDEN SALAD 
1 pkg. frozen peas
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. water
2 2/3 c. Minute Rice
1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 1/2 c. dill pickles, chopped
1 onion (size of an egg)
3 c. ham, cut up
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Swiss cheese, cut up
1 c. green pepper
3 c. celery, cut fine

Put peas, salt and water in pan and bring to boil; add rice. Remove from heat and stir with fork until rice is moistened. Cover and let stand 15 minutes. Add pickles, onion and mayonnaise; mix with fork. Just before serving, add celery, green pepper, meat and cheese. If not moist enough, add a little more pickle juice and some mayonnaise. Makes a large bowl full.
