WILD RICE AND SAUSAGE WITH
ALMONDS
 
1 lb. bulk country sausage (mild)
1 1/2 c. diced celery
1 1/2 c. chopped onion
2 lg. pkg. almond pieces (thick sliced)
3 boxes UNCLE BEN'S® Original Recipe Wild Rice

Brown sausage in large skillet. Add celery and onion. Cook until they are browned and slightly under done. Remove and place in colander to drain. Return to skillet and add rice and 1 package of the seasoning mix.

Add enough water to absorb into rice mixture. Add almond slices. Simmer until moisture is absorbed. Add more water and stir as needed. Remove from stove and allow to sit a few minutes to distribute flavors.
