OUR FAVORITE APPLE CRISP 
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. melted butter
6 Haralson apples, sliced & peeled
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Blend the brown sugar, flour and baking powder. Stir in the butter until mixture is crumbly.

Combine apples, sugar, 1 tablespoon flour and cinnamon. Spread this in a 9 x 13 inch pan and cover with the crumbly mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm with ice cream for a special treat.
