3 sticks softened butter
6 lg. eggs
2 3/4 c. sugar
3 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Sift together flour, cocoa and salt. Mix butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla and beat well. Add sifted dry ingredients, stir well. Add chopped nuts. Put in greased 9"x15" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Makes a bit batch.
