2 c. baking mix
2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
5 tbsp. soft shortening or oil
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine all ingredients. Beat until well blended. Drop onto greased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. 3 dozen. Cookies are like shortbread.
